The Bubble Dress in Floral from Ijeoma Oluo

When Ijeoma and I started the design process she was very clear about one thing…she wanted an amazing, oversized silhouette that is typically hard to find in plus size. The dress had to have pockets of course. So the Bubble dress was born!

We added lots of fun little details, box pleats and more pleats on the shoulders to add volume and interest. There is also a little high/low action in the hem, so that it covers everything without a thought! The wide neck is perfect to pair with a chunky necklace and is very comfortable for a variety of body shapes/sizes. The Bubble dress looks great belted as well.

This amazing abstract floral cotton sateen deadstock fabric has a beautiful hand and weight to it. It is crisp and holds its shape, but is also soft and moves with your body. This is a limited print, we bought all they had! But this bubble style will be released in different fabrics throughout the end of summer and into the fall.
